United States of America

USA has been on of the most popular destinations for students for decades. Indian students finish their graduations and get jobs in big multinational firms. Since the recession and September 11 attacks, it has been very difficult for Indian students. Even Professionals with experience have been forced to come back to India. Students have not been able to find jobs are forced to come back to India and look for jobs back in India. Students getting fabulous jobs and getting green cards are a thing of the past. Though USA still boasts of some of the best Universities in the world, the difficulty in getting the visas and the severe recession has taken its toll on the number of students preferring USA. On top of it students spend generally two years for Masters programme whereas elsewhere you can finish it in One year. But if you get a good scholarship and a good University you can try it. The present ratio is only 2 out of 10 students who apply, get the visa cleared by the US Consulate.

Business School
The applicants for business schools face some tough competition for the available slots. One thing remains true: the MBA offers long term benefits, particularly as a stepping stone to new career opportunities and enhance earning potential. The key is finding the right school and then getting into it. We are aware that applying to a graduate professional program involves, marketing the student effectively to business schools.

How Do We Find The Right School? Once it is determined what the Student wants to get out of business school, we find suitable programs. We decide where to apply by researching schools and evaluating their criteria and those of the student. When to apply, is a key issue too. After all student wants to maximize the chances of admission. And with the inside word on how admissions officers will judge, we know how and when to apply. Being a well-qualified candidate is not enough to guarantee admission into the business school of choice. The student has to be marketed to the admissions panel.

Business Schools use GMAT scores to help assess whether the student possesses the foundation upon which to build a successful business career, so the test meant to carefully evaluate the specific analytical skills. Good scores can open the doors. The GMAT is unlikely any other test encountered in academic career. It requires a wide range of both knowledge based and test- taking skills to excel on it. The good news is that one does not have to be some kind of Computer Whiz to do well on the GMAT. The GMAT is among other things an endurance test. United Kingdom

The last 3 years British Council Library along with the Universities have done huge exhibitions promoting "Education in UK". British embassy has also made visa easier for eligible students who have got admission into good Universities and has sufficient funds for the entire programme of study. UK Universities also boast of world-class infrastructure and recognition apart from offering programmes of one year Masters saving the students One year and substantial saving in living costs. Part Time jobs helps students recover a fairly large portion of their living costs. Regulations allow a student to work a max of 20 hours a week and the earning potential of about 400 pounds a month.

British Government has also introduced a few new schemes to help students like TWE- Training and Work Experience scheme, where a student can get his visa extended for 3 to 5 years. This helps the student to get himself exposed to the high quality work ambience in UK and also helps him recover the entire cost of study. Hotel Management Programs are highly popular in UK because of the acute shortage of trained manpower in UK. Students with Management background like B.Com, BBA, BBM, BA etc and Hotel management students can do Hotel management programs in UK, the highlight of these programs being the student recovers the whole of the course fee before he finishes the program. Most of the graduated Hotel Management students also get 5 year visas to work in UK establishments. Surely UK is a very attractive place to pursue Higher Education.IMTP List of niversities
