Clothing

In sync with New Zealand's relaxed lifestyle, dress is mostly informal. Clothing and hairstyles are similar to those in any other western country. People from the Pacific Islands, Asia and the Middle East sometimes wear traditional clothing. Most families wear shoes inside their house, but people from some ethnic groups leave their shoes at the door.

National Costume

You might like to bring your national costume to wear at functions organised by your educational institution or local community. (Ethnic food recipes are also welcome.)
